Cycling up and down hills and plains, through woods and countryside; reaching secluded villages, resting in the shadow of the medieval strongholds of our ancient land, enjoying the silence of nature, regaining forgotten rhythms. These are all pleasures that who loves riding can easily imagine, but our hotel makes them unique, thanks to the quality of our services, which have been to bicycle tourism for more than 15 years.
Why to choose us – for your bike holiday
Bicycle storage and technical assistance:
- Bicycle Storage: our large latest generation bike room can accommodate up to 170 bicycles. It is equipped with a closed-circuit surveillance system and is accessible directly from the rooms, the garage and the square in front of the hotel
- Once back from the tour we guarantee a fast and effective laundry service for all cycling clothing (within 12 hours). Laundry bag available in the room, dirty laundry collection in the bike room every afternoon
- Daily technical assistance for small repairs and adjustments. More complex interventions with a professional mechanic expert in racing bicycles are available on request
- We work with specialized shops for technical clothing and bicycle maintenance materials
- Bike rental. We have a wide range of road and touring bicycles
- Sartibus: the Sarti minibus accompanies the group of cyclists along the most challenging routes. Furthermore, it is used to accompany family members and non-cyclists who want to join cyclists at the farmhouse
- Transfers from the train stations and surrounding airports (to be agreed in advance)
- After your bike ride, you can visit our Sarti Wellness (200 m2 of pure well-being), or in the hotel's outdoor swimming pool
Rendezvous with palate:
- Welcome drink and guidance with explanation of our bike services and introduction of the guides
- Refreshment with post-training lunch with flexible hours from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Buffet with warm pasta and rice, different types of cold cuts, mixed cheeses, salad, home-made cakes, fruit salad and fresh fruit, always set up in the room which opens out onto the pool area. Mineral water and house wines included
- On Saturday evening “ Romagna dinner” in our restaurant, with a meat and fish based menu, an out and out showcase of traditional Romagna delicacies
- Once a week Stop at the farmhouse, during the cycling excursion, for all groups, with a tasting of typical products at a local farmhouse
Cycling excursions accompanied by our expert guides:
- 6 excursions per week (weather conditions permitting) from 3 to 6 different levels with expert guides, some of which on the same routes as the most famous cycling races
- Guided tours at a calm and relaxing pace, by touring bicycle or electric bicycle
- Guided road bike excursions at a tourist pace through the most beau-tiful historic centers in the surrounding area
- More demanding guided tour with differences in altitude between 1,000 and 2,500 m, kilometers even over 100 km, demanding slopes and a fast pace (good level of athletic preparation is required)
- MTB routes with or without guide (on request)
- Qualified assistance during the ex-cursion, information on places of in-terest, stops at the most beautiful panoramic points
- Coffee break or longer stop to rech-arge your energy
- Free rescue service and bike recove-ry using the hotel minibus in case of need
- For cyclists who want to venture out to discover our territory without the help of a guide, a wide range of in-formation material and a multitude of already marked routes are avalai-ble
