Dear cyclist,

boxbikeit’s a pleasure to see that you are keep reading my story.

Autumn has already arrived, since I’m a cyclist lover, I can just be enthusiastic about that.
At last it’s the moment to restart training hardly… but we have to do it gradually, especially if there is someone who was a little bit lazy during the summer because of the holidays and the heat.

I have to be honest: that’s my case.
At the peak of the summer I’m usually really busy with the Hotel commitments and I don’t have a lot of free time: the spell of the sun and the sand on the skin are really fascinating to me; after all I’m a man who loves the sea!

What about you? Did you interrupt your training during the last summer too?
In this case I think you will start riding again in these days, just like me!

I love the city of Riccione within its hinterland, they offer all I need to get used, again, to ride long distance.
My first week, after the summer break, has been already organized: I’m starting with easy tours riding through the mild hills of Riccione.

Daniele-MorriCountry streets are plenty in this area and everyone of them leads to places where traffic is almost missing: beautiful gardens with autumn shades, few houses and some historic mansion: nature is the only star.

Streets go up and down but the slope are never more than 500 meters and the quality of the street tar is pretty good and that’s really important for cyclists.

Riding through these wonderful landscapes reminds me of an ancient project, a dream I would like to come true: I’d like to turn the old country streets, almost deserted, into real cycling paths; or in the case that’s to difficult, I would like, at least, create signs to facilitate cyclists and turn down the transit of means of transport.

What do you think about it? I know I’m not the only one, in fact there is an ambitious project called “Bicitalia” that has the aim to map a national cyclist road net that would be able to connect different Italian regions.

That’s it for today,
So long with another story!
